🏐 Open Gym Practices & Tryouts for Boys Volleyball! 🏐

Are you ready to hit the court, sharpen your skills, and become part of an incredible team? We’re thrilled to announce that open gym practices and tryouts for the WDV boys volleyball teams are right around the corner!

Whether you’re an experienced player or just getting started, open gym is the perfect opportunity to practice, meet the coaches, and connect with other players. Bring your energy, enthusiasm, and love for the game – we can’t wait to see you there!

📅 Open Gym Practice Schedule

Dates:

11/16/24 from 12-2pm
11/18/24 from 4:30-6:30pm
11/19/24 from 4:30-6:30pm

Location: WDV Gym, 201 N. Douglas campus

Open gym practices are a chance for players to work on their skills in a friendly, supportive environment. Coaches will be there to give feedback and help you prepare for tryouts. Be sure to bring water, wear comfortable athletic gear, and be ready to play!

11/20/24 from 6:30-8:30pm
11/21/24 from 4:30-6:30pm
Make up tryout date for in-season athletes – 12/14/24 from 12:00-2:00pm

Location: WDV Gym, 201 N. Douglas campus

What to Bring: Athletic gear, water, and a great attitude!

Tryouts will be competitive and a great chance to showcase your skills. We’re looking for players who are committed, hardworking, and ready to represent our school with pride.

WDV Girls Volleyball Advances to the CIF-SS Playoffs!

Congratulations to Our Girls Volleyball Team on a Hard-Fought Victory!

Our Wiseburn Da Vinci girls volleyball team delivered an incredible performance in their tie-breaking match, securing a thrilling win that cemented their tie for 2nd place in the Pioneer league! This victory highlights the team’s relentless effort, determination, and passion throughout the season.

With this crucial win, we’re proud to announce that the team is advancing to the playoffs! Their journey continues with the first playoff game scheduled for Thursday, October 24 at Canyon Country High School at 6pm (division 5). A huge congratulations to all the players and coaching staff for their perseverance and teamwork. Every serve, spike, and block this season has contributed to this moment, and we know there are even more thrilling matches to come.

WDV Girls Volleyball in Three-Way Tie – Tiebreaker Match Tomorrow!

Exciting news! Our girls volleyball team finds itself in the midst of a three-way tie for third place in Pioneer League standings. The stakes are high as these three teams are all in the running for playoffs. To determine who moves forward, the WDV team will compete in a tie-breaking match at home tomorrow against the Peninsula Panthers!

Match Details:

📅 When: Tomorrow at 3:30 PM
📍 Where: WDV Gym

This will be an intense and pivotal match, so let’s pack the gym and cheer on our girls! A playoff spot is on the line, and with home-court advantage, our team needs every ounce of support to push through.

Come out and support the team tomorrow – your energy could make the difference in this crucial match. Wear your school colors, bring your loudest cheers, and let’s make this a game to remember!

🏐 Girls Volleyball – Senior Night

Date: Monday, October 14
Time: Varsity at 5:00 PM / JV&FS at 3:30 PM
Location: WDV Gym – HOME GAME

Come out and support our seniors as they play their final regular season home game! This is a great opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication they’ve given to the program over the years. Let’s fill the stands and cheer them on!

Date: Saturday, October 19
Time: JV&FS at 8:30 AM
Location: Peninsula High School

🏃‍♀️ Cross Country Meet

Date: Saturday, October 19
Location: El Dorado Park
Time: Races begin at 8:00 AM

Our cross-country runners are ready to compete in another league meet this Saturday. Make sure to wish them luck as they push toward personal bests and strong team finishes!

⚽ Girls Soccer Information Meeting

Congratulations to Our Boys Beach Volleyball Team on a Fantastic Season!

The Wiseburn Da Vinci Boys Beach Volleyball team has made us proud!

We are honored to congratulate the WDV boys beach volleyball team for their stellar performance this season, finishing second in their division. Their journey to the playoffs was filled with dedication, teamwork, and countless hard-fought victories that showcased their determination and passion for the game.

In the playoffs, they gave it their all in a thrilling final match against Windward, coming up just short in a heartbreaking loss. While they finished just outside the top spot, their perseverance and the effort they put into each and every game were nothing short of inspiring.

Thank you to the WDV coaching staff, families and fans for a successful season supporting our boys beach volleyball team!

We applaud our athletes for all the hard work, commitment, and heart they demonstrated throughout the season. Congratulations again on your impressive second-place finish—we can’t wait to see what the future holds!

What an incredible season for our Wiseburn Da Vinci Boys Beach Volleyball team! Finishing second in their league, they’ve battled hard to earn a spot in the Southern Pacific IBVL Boys’ Varsity Playoff Finals—a fantastic achievement worth celebrating!

Their skill, teamwork, and determination have propelled them through every match. As they prepare for the finals, it’s inspiring to see their commitment to refining their skills and supporting one another.

They’ve already made us proud, and we’re all rooting for that well-deserved championship. Let’s show our support and cheer them on—go, Wolves! Final match: 10/4/24 @ 4:00pm at the Annenberg Beach House!

Health and Wellness Tools to Support Student Athletes

Date: Wednesday, October 2nd

Time: 6:30–8:00 PM

Location: Black Box Theater

Join us for an informative session on nutrition and fitness tools designed to help your athlete succeed. Performance Dietician Denise Alvey (RD, CSSD, CLT) will share valuable nutrition education and strategies on how to best fuel your athlete for optimal health, performance, and recovery.

Coach Luis Morales (EXOS Performance Specialist, B.S., CSCS, XPS, XFS, FMS) will introduce the Exos training system and explain how it can enhance your athlete’s fitness, complementing the training they already receive with their team.
