WDV Boys Volleyball will kick off the 2024 CIF playoffs on familiar territory this week, on the road. 

Last year’s squad played 6 of their 7 playoff contests on either the road or at a neutral site, driving over 1,400 miles across Southern California, on their way to winning the Division 5 CIF Volleyball Championship.

This year’s team posted a record of 25-7 and are currently ranked 30th in California and 57th in the nation.

This year, they will be traveling to Cerritos High School (12500 183rd Street, Cerritos, CA 90703) to compete against the Dons on Thursday, April 25th at 6:00pm.

Interested in joining the CIF Southern Section Division 5 championship team? Join us for tryouts on December 4th, 5th and 6th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m!

BEFORE TRYOUTS:
You must also fill out the following forms:

1.    Boys Volleyball Tryout 2023-2024 online form
2.    Waiver and Release of Liability
3.    Wiseburn Da Vinci Volleyball Player Tryout Conduct Consent Form

The last two documents must be signed by both you (athlete) and your parent/guardian BEFORE you can try out. Bring the signed documents to tryouts. Thank you!

Please join us as we honor the 2023 Boy’s Varsity Volleyball team with their Championship rings. They traveled many miles and played many hours, winning the California Interscholastic Federation, Southern Section (CIF-SS) Division 5 Championship and placing third at the CIF State Division 3 playoffs.

The ceremony will take place today: Monday, September 18th. 
Time: Approximately 4:15-4:30pm (after the Girl’s junior varsity game and before the girl’s varsity game against Lawndale High School)

Current High School Tryouts – May 31^st and June 1st; Incoming and Transfers – July 10th, 11^th and 12th

Incoming high school students including transfers will be held on July 11, 12, and 13 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Congratulations to our Boys’ Volleyball team for making on to Round 2 of CIF playoffs! The game will be held this Saturday, 4/29 at 6pm in the WDV gym.

Admission will be charged for CIF games:
$10 for adults/student without a high school ID and $5 for students with proper high school ID/ children (5-13). Tickets can be purchased online through goFan here, or through the following QR code:

Tickets can also be purchased at the door using the posted QR codes on the doors of the gym entrance. Once purchased, please show your purchase at the door and the attendants will activate your ticket on your phone by checking the green check box for you. Screen shots will not be an accepted form of proof for entry. There will be no cash transactions or paper tickets for CIF games.

Doors will open to spectators as early as 5:15pm. Snack and concessions will be available for purchase in the gym lobby and we ask that you keep food and drinks outside of the gym.
