Get ready to hit the sand! Wiseburn Da Vinci Boys Beach Volleyball tryouts for the 2025 season are happening on Wednesday, August 6, from 12:00–2:00 PM.

We’re looking for dedicated athletes who are ready to work hard, compete at a high level, and represent Wiseburn Da Vinci with pride. Whether you’re a returning player or new to the program, this is your chance to show us what you’ve got.

📍 Location: Dockweiler Youth Center Courts

🕛 Date & Time: Wednesday, August 6 | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

🎒 What to Bring: Water, sunscreen, athletic attire, and a great attitude.

FREE sports physicals for the coming 2025-26 school year are available beginning May 1 thru August 31. Da Vinci students can book their sports screening via the QR code on the flyer.

All WDV Athletics student-athletes are required to have a current and up-to-date physical on file and uploaded to Home Campus before participating in tryouts.

WDV Baseball and Boys Volleyball Clinch Playoff Spots!

🎉 Double the Celebration – Baseball and Boys Volleyball Are Headed to the Playoffs! ⚾🏐

We’re proud to share some incredible news—both our Wiseburn Da Vinci Varsity Baseball and Boys Varsity Volleyball teams have officially earned spots in the CIF-SS playoffs!

This is a huge accomplishment for our student-athletes, coaches, and the entire Wiseburn Da Vinci community. After months of hard work, discipline, and determination, these teams have risen to the challenge and proven they belong among the best.

⚾ Our baseball team has battled through a competitive season with grit, teamwork, and clutch performances. From walk-off wins to standout pitching, they’ve shown what it means to play with heart and hustle.

🏐 Our boys volleyball team has soared this season with powerful serves, smart plays, and solid team chemistry. Their consistency and focus have paid off, earning them a well-deserved spot in the postseason.

A huge thank-you goes out to our coaching staffs for their leadership, as well as to the players for representing Wiseburn Da Vinci with pride and sportsmanship.

You can cheer on our graduating WDV Senior baseball players this Saturday night, May 3 for SENIOR Night vs Environmental Charter at Lawndale High School 7pm.

Boys Volleyball head to Rancho Verde High School on May 5th at 6:00pm to continue their Playoff push!

We can’t wait to cheer on both teams as they begin their playoff runs.

Wiseburn Da Vinci Athletic Department Update (Oct. ’24)

Fall Sports Wrap Up and Team Highlights

First, a huge congratulations to our boys beach volleyball team! They had a stellar season, finishing in 2nd place in their division. They fought their way to the playoff finals, and although they came up just a touch short, they should be incredibly proud of their second-place finish. We’re grateful for their dedication and effort on the sand.

October was a huge month for girls volleyball. The team has been working hard all season and ended with a thrilling three-way tie match at home against Peninsula, which they won! This victory solidified their standing as the second-place finishers in the Pioneer League. They made it all the way to the CIF Playoffs on October 24—Congratulations to our Wolves! A special thank you to our Seniors Olivia Gonser, Kendra Kehl and Lina Valenzuela for all you have done for WDV girls volleyball, we will miss you!

Winter Sports Training Season

Our archery program also saw a fantastic turnout for the recent safety meetings and training sessions. It’s wonderful to see so many new faces interested in the sport. We’re eagerly looking forward to tryouts in November, and we wish all aspiring archers the best of luck.

The WDV girls soccer season is officially underway! We appreciate everyone’s patience during the planning season. The tryouts had an excellent turnout on our brand-new Wiseburn Da Vinci soccer field. We can’t wait to see what the season has in store for this talented group.

The WDV boys soccer team has been training and are ready for their first scrimmages at the beginning of November. The first home game on the new WDV Soccer Field will be held on November 15 @ 4:30pm (JV) and 6:00pm (Var) vs. Lynwood. Come out and cheer on your home team!

With winter sports’ official season on the horizon, keep an eye out for upcoming updates and schedules for boys and girls basketball, as well as boys and girls soccer. We’re especially excited to welcome everyone to our brand-new Wiseburn Da Vinci HOME turf for soccer games—it’s going to be an exciting season!

WDV Girls Volleyball Advances to the CIF-SS Playoffs!

Congratulations to Our Girls Volleyball Team on a Hard-Fought Victory!

Our Wiseburn Da Vinci girls volleyball team delivered an incredible performance in their tie-breaking match, securing a thrilling win that cemented their tie for 2nd place in the Pioneer league! This victory highlights the team’s relentless effort, determination, and passion throughout the season.

With this crucial win, we’re proud to announce that the team is advancing to the playoffs! Their journey continues with the first playoff game scheduled for Thursday, October 24 at Canyon Country High School at 6pm (division 5). A huge congratulations to all the players and coaching staff for their perseverance and teamwork. Every serve, spike, and block this season has contributed to this moment, and we know there are even more thrilling matches to come.
