Wolves Games Week Of 8/23
Sports are back! WDV athletics starts the sports season this week with girls volleyball.
Tuesday 8/24 girls volleyball at Valley Christian, 17700 Dumont, Cerritos, 90703. JV @ 4pm followed by varsity @ 5:15pm
Thursday 8/26 home opener vs. Calvary Chapel. JV @3:15pm followed by varsity @ 4:30pm.

Girls Volleyball Tryouts
Please see the below schedule for girls volleyball tryouts for the upcoming 2021-22 season. All tryouts will take place in the Wiseburn Da Vinci gym. COVID protocols require everyone to wear a mask while inside the gym at all times. If you have any questions please contact coach Taube at jtaube@davincischools.org.
Tuesday Aug. 10th, 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Wednesday Aug. 11th, 4pm – 6pm (9th and 10th grade only)
Friday Aug. 13th, 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Monday Aug. 16th, 4pm – 6pm (make-up tryouts and first practice)

WDV Playoff Update
Congrats to girls soccer and boys soccer who made it to the semi-finals last week. Boys volleyball won the wild card round and made it to the first round of the playoffs. All three teams had tough losses last week. What great seasons for each of them…awesome job athletes and coaches! We are so proud of your resilience, work ethic and commitment during these challenging times.
This week, boys basketball, girls basketball, and swim begin their CIF playoffs. Boys basketball will be on the road vs Bell Gardens on May 26th, start time 7pm. Girls will host Rancho Christian on May 27th, start time 7pm. Swim had several athletes qualify. The swim championships will take place on May 29th at Santa Margarita High School, start time 4pm.
This weekend we will find out whether softball, baseball and track make the playoffs.

Boys Volleyball Update
Boys Volleyball Tryouts will be on Tuesday, 4/20 and Wednesday, 4/21 from 4-6 pm at:
Dockweiler Beach Youth Center (beach courts)
12505 Vista Del Mar
Playa Del Rey, CA 90293
Athletes are expected to attend both days of tryouts.
Practices will be held on Tuesdays thru Thursdays from 4-6pm beginning on Thursday, 4/22. Coach Hlaudy will provide more info at the tryouts.
