Wiseburn Da Vinci Archery welcomed a team of students with special needs from Saiki International Archery Land in Hiroshima, Japan for a special collaboration with the Friendship Foundation. This marks the third year they have had the honor of hosting their archers at practice, and this year,  they were able expand the event with even more activities and a deeper partnership. The event was facilitated by Saiki International Archery Land and the Friendship Foundation, with our WDV Archery team proudly serving as hosts for both local students and our international guests.

Activities for the team and visitors included:

  • A hands-on archery station, where they received coaching and learned the basics of archery.
  • A practice observation station, where they watched an archer who will be a part of the LA 2028 Paralympic team from Japan.
  • A Japanese calligraphy experience

This was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate inclusivity, sportsmanship, and international collaboration. Thank you all for your support in making this experience memorable!
