We are thrilled to welcome Nick “A.D.” Davidson to the team as Director of Wiseburn Da Vinci Athletics.

Nick has over 20 years of experience as an athletic director, coach, teacher, trainer, and mentor. Nick joins at an exciting time for the Wiseburn Da Vinci Athletics program as the WDV Wolves moved to the Pioneer League in 2022-23, which now offers Da Vinci student-athletes a more competitive experience, more consistent game schedules, additional team levels, shorter travel times, and more. With 30 teams participating in 12 CIF sports, student-athletes from all Da Vinci high schools come together to play collectively as the Wiseburn Da Vinci Wolves. WDV Athletics also offers two non-CIF sports.

Nick was selected from a pool of 48 candidates. The top candidates were interviewed by a joint Wiseburn Da Vinci Interview Panel comprised of Wiseburn and Da Vinci administrators, community members, and coaches.

“Nick offers a wealth of experience to lead our athletics department and community into the future. We are tremendously excited to have Nick join our team,” shares Dr. Matthew Wunder, Da Vinci’s CEO/Superintendent.

Prior to Da Vinci, Nick served as athletic director at Alain Locke College Preparatory Academy, Ribet Academy School, and New Roads School. Most recently, he worked with the City of Pasadena in the Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department as a program and recreation site coordinator. He currently serves as a senior lead trainer for Positive Coaching Alliance, where he’s conducted 500+ workshops for leaders, coaches, parents, and student-athletes. Nick also has extensive community involvement through the BOSS Program, Black Women for Wellness, L.A. Watts Summer Games, Youth Mentoring Connection, the Special Olympics, and more.

As the Wiseburn Da Vinci Athletics program continues to grow, so does the excitement among our students. We look forward to the awesome experiences and achievements that await students under Nick’s guidance.
