WDV Athletics is excited to announce the newest additions to our coaching staff: Coach Ezequiel Barba (Baseball) and Daniel Espinoza (Boys Soccer).

We interviewed several candidates and found two outstanding coaches to guide our baseball and boys soccer programs. Coach Barba has been coaching since 2000. Before coming to WDV he was the head coach at Lennox Academy for 4 seasons. Coach Espinoza has coached soccer for 12 years as an assistant and head coach. Currently, Coach Espinoza serves as an instructional aide at Dana Middle School.

Boys Basketball tryouts are Sept 13, 15 and 17 from 4:15-6:15. Initial cuts will be announced after the Sept. 15 tryout. If you have any questions please email Coach Amaral jamaral@davincischools.org

WDV athletes,

Based on overall interest, we will be offering regular Off Season training this month on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Classes will be held at the Crossfit Box. The 50 minute sessions will start promptly at 4:30pm and 5:30pm. We highly recommend you arrive 10-15 minute prior to your first training session.

If you are interested in off-season training in September, please follow these steps:

1. Fill out this Google Form
2. You will receive a confirmation email from dmo@teamexos.com with your assigned training time.
3. You will also receive a “Welcome to UCLA Health Sports Performance” email which will ask you to create a new password on our Mindbody class registration portal
4. Please complete your online profile on Mindbody, including emergency contact.
5. You will then be able to register for future sessions using this portal.

RULES

• You may attend a maximum of 2 training sessions per week.
• Show up to your commitment. Cancellation windows close 8 hours prior to the start time, so you will be locked in to your commitment by 9:00am.
• If you do not show up to your commitments, then you will forfeit all of your current reservations and will not be able to attend training for 1 week.
• Maximum class size is 20. If the class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist. If someone cancels and a spot frees up, then the first person on the waitlist will automatically be added to the class.
• We are people and we are learners just like you! We want to know how you are doing, how you are feeling, if our scheduler is glitching, if something is coming up at the last minute and you need some grace. Please reach out to us for anything regarding this program and your wellbeing:

WDV athletes, thank you for participating in the EXOS training survey, there were 111 responses. Great to see so many athletes interested in this awesome program. With that number of athletes we had to work on the logistics considering equipment and space. We came up with a solution and the program is ready to start on Wednesday September 1. An email from Deviny Mo from EXOS will be going out very soon. This will have a link to a google sign up form for each student athlete to complete. Each athlete can sign up for 2 sessions, but not back to back. So you can sign up for one session on Monday and another on Friday, but not two on the same day. If you have specific questions about the program you can email Deviny Mo from EXOS dmo@teamexos.com.
