Come celebrate the senior girl volleyball players tomorrow evening at their final regular season home game. The senior night ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. Please note the game time change to 6pm. See you there!

Practice schedule for Oct. 11th – Oct. 14th. Both jv and varsity teams will be at Juan Anza Elementary Monday – Thursday 4:30pm to 6pm. Bring running shoes and cleats.

Archery will be holding our 2021-22 Archery informational meeting over Zoom on Wednesday, October 13th at 6:30 pm. This meeting will be recorded. While some of the information will be a repeat of the meeting last year there will be new important information including competition dates. We have had a huge amount of interest so we will be going over how we will make decisions on the team.

WDV Athletics is excited to announce the newest additions to our coaching staff: Coach Ezequiel Barba (Baseball) and Daniel Espinoza (Boys Soccer).
We interviewed several candidates and found two outstanding coaches to guide our baseball and boys soccer programs. Coach Barba has been coaching since 2000. Before coming to WDV he was the head coach at Lennox Academy for 4 seasons. Coach Espinoza has coached soccer for 12 years as an assistant and head coach. Currently, Coach Espinoza serves as an instructional aide at Dana Middle School.

So EXCITED to share that our Freshmen/Sophomore Girls Cross Country Team won 1st Place in the entire Large school division (1600+ students) at the Bell Jefferson Invitational over the weekend!!!
It came down to a tiebreaker between the #6 girl from each team, and our WDV Wolves won by a 2-second finish!
DVC’s own Alani Flores finished #1 overall (22:32) for 3 miles!!

Please see the below information regarding boys soccer tryouts. There will be a meeting on Monday Sept. 27th for all interested athletes from 4pm to 4:30pm in the west plaza at 201 Douglas.
All tryouts will be held at Anza Elementary school from 4:30pm to 6pm.
Sept. 28th, 29th & 30th – 9th & 10th grade
Oct. 5th, 6th & 7th – 11th & 12th grade
