Congratulations to our amazing athletes and athletic teams for earning 2022-2023 CIF Academic Awards this year!
Since 1913, CIF has stood for Academics, Integrity and Athletics.
Each year we have student-athletes and athletic teams nominated by their coaches for achieving and maintaining high grade point averages while participating in our athletic programs.
Below are the 2022-23 results:
Congratulations to Kaelee Weller from Cross Country for earning the 2022-23 Female Athlete of the Year award with a 3.9 GPA!
Congratulations to our athletic teams earning “Honorable Mention” by CIF for earning a high combined team GPA:
At 3.67 we have the Girls’ Beach Volleyball team
At 3.70 we have the Boys’ Volleyball team
and At 3.42 we have the Girls’ Volleyball team
Way to go Kaelee and our Wiseburn Da Vinci Volleyball teams for not only representing WDV Athletics but also WDV Academics!
Great job to all the athletes for working hard to do well both in school and in athletics. We hope to see many more teams and student-athletes nominated and to earn several more CIF Awards!
