Girls 2024 Volleyball Tryouts

  • Current DV high school students:
    • Tuesday, May 21st (4:15PM – 6:15PM)
    • Wednesday, May 22nd (4:15PM – 6:15PM)
    • Thursday, May 23rd (4:15PM – 6:15PM)
  • Incoming and transfers students:
    • Wednesday, July 10th (2:00PM – 4:00PM)
    • Thursday, July 11th (2:00PM – 4:00PM)
    • Friday, July 12th (2:00PM – 4:00PM)
    • Monday, July 15th (2:00PM – 4:00PM)
    • Tuesday, July 16th (2:00PM – 4:00PM)

All tryouts will be held at the WDV GYM located at 201 N. Douglas St. El Segundo, CA 90245

Tryouts are CLOSED, student-athletes are only allowed.

SPRING

2024-25

Baseball Tryouts 9/16/24 – 9/20/24

Time – 5:00-7:15pm

Location – WDV Field (Behind Da Vinci Connect K-8)

9/16/24 – Freshman Only

9/17/24 – Sophomores Only

9/18/24 – Juniors and Seniors Only

 

Round 2

Players who have advanced to round 2 of tryouts received information sent to their Da Vinci student email accounts.

9/19/24 – 5:30pm @ Leuzinger High School Fields

Pre-Tryout Skills Assessment

  • When:
    • Friday, November 8th , 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
  • Where:
    • Del Aire Park 12601 Isis Ave., Hawthorne, CA 90250 (Softball Field)
  • Note:
    • Preferably for newcomers.

Tryouts

  • When:
    • November 12-15, 2024
    • 4:15-6:30pm
  • Where:
    • Softball Field behind Da Vinci Connect TK-8
  • Note: Up to date physicals are REQUIRED to tryout! Athletic Clearance Process

New and Returning Swimmers must try out on BOTH days 

Tuesday, Dec 3, 2024 4:15-5:30pm 

Wednesday, Dec 4, 2024 4:15-5:30pm 

 

Minimum Requirements to try out for the swim team: 

Must know how to swim all 4 strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle) 

Must be able to swim at least 200 yards (8 laps) without stopping 

What to bring: swimsuit, goggles, cap (optional), towel, warm clothes 

Where: El Segundo High School Track

When:

  • December 3, 2024: 5:00-6:30pm (GIRLS ONLY)
  • December 4, 2024: 5:00-6:30pm (BOYS ONLY)
  • December 5, 2024: 5:00-6:30pm (MAKE UP SESSION)
